March 8 in Japan. International women’s day. Holidays

In Japan March is generally considered women’s month is celebrated not only the eighth of March, but “Momo-but sekku” (peach blossom Festival), the famous Holiday girls, better known as “Hina Matsuri”, the doll Festival. The Population of South Korea.

The population of South Korea is over 48 million people.

National structure:

Koreans (99%);

other Nations (Chinese, Filipinos, Thais, Vietnamese, Americans).

Koreans believe that they are descendents of Altaic or proto-Altaic tribes: they compare themselves with Turks, Mongols and Tungus. Their confidence is based on archaeological data, according to which the Korean Peninsula really migrated tribes from southern and Central Siberia during the Neolithic and bronze age.

1 sq km is home to 480 people, but the most densely populated district is Seoul yangcheon-GU (population density of over 27,000 people per 1 sq km) and least populated County Inje-gun (Gangwon province): here on 1 square km is home to 20 people.

The official language is Korean, but a wide spread in the country got more and English.

Major cities: Seoul, Daejeon, Busan, Ichon, Daegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Suwon,

Half of South Koreans (51%) Buddhist, and the others are Protestantism, Catholicism, Confucianism, shamanism.

Lifespan

The female population on average live to 80, and the male – to 73 years. Despite fairly high rates, South Korea pays for health care not so much money (2000$ a year for 1 person).
